This policy explains how DERMATEG uses cookies and similar browser storage on dermateg.com. It covers what we store, why we store it, how long it stays, and how you can change your mind at any time.
We keep this deliberately short on tracking. DERMATEG does not run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site, and we do not sell or share your browsing data with advertising networks.
What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser when you visit a website. We also use two related technologies that behave the same way in practice: local storage and session storage, which save small pieces of information in your browser instead of in a cookie file. Where this policy says “cookies,” it means all three.
Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Strictly necessary cookies are always active because the store cannot run without them — declining does not remove those, but nothing in the analytics category is set until you accept.
If you are visiting from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, no analytics cookies are set before you accept. Visitors from other regions may have analytics enabled by default where local law permits, and can switch it off at any time using Manage Cookies at the bottom of any page.
Strictly necessary
Required for the store to work — remembering your cookie choice, keeping your session consistent, and processing payments securely. These cannot be switched off.

Analytics (optional)
Set only with your consent. Analytics tells us how the store is used in aggregate — how many people visit, which pages they read, and where checkout goes wrong. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you, and we do not attempt to identify you from it.

What we do not use
- No advertising, retargeting, or social media tracking pixels.
- No cross-site tracking of your activity on other websites.
- No sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.
- Our shipping and fulfilment partners handle your order after checkout, but they do not place cookies on this site.
Third parties
Two service providers can set or receive information through this site: Stripe, which processes payments and uses its own cookies for fraud prevention at checkout, and Amboras, the commerce platform that hosts dermateg.com and processes analytics on our behalf. Both act under contract and are not permitted to use your data for their own advertising.
Managing or withdrawing consent
- Select Manage Cookies at the bottom of any page to review or change your choice.
- Clear cookies and site data in your browser settings to reset everything, including your saved bag.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies in your browser will break the bag and checkout.
Changes to this policy
If we add a new tool that sets cookies, we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask for it again before the tool runs. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
